صور صادمة وثقتها الأقمار الصناعية وعدسات المصورين تظهر الجفاف والفرق الشاسع والتدمير المتعمد الذي أحدثته السدود والمشاريع الإيرانية الكارثية على هور الحويزة، بعدما كانت لآلاف السنين، مضرب مثل بوفرة المياه فيها.
تأتي هذه الصور في الوقت الذي يسابق فيه العالم من أجل السيطرة على تبعات التغير المناخي واتخاذ إجراءات صارمة من شأنها الحفاظ على البيئة، بينما يتعمد النظام الإيراني تخريب هور الحويزة أحد أهم وأكبر محميات الطيور والأسماك ليتحول إلى صحراء قاحلة.
ويبدو أن سياسة النظام الإيراني العنصرية تجاه مستقبل الشعب الأحوزي أتت اُكلها، وتغيرت المناخات الجغرافية كلها بعد أن عمدت على تنشيف الأهوار والأنهار الأحوازية منذ أكثر من عقد التالية أسماؤها: هور الحويزة العظيم، هور الفلاحية، نهر الدجيل، نهر الكرخة، نهر شط العرب.
إن هور الحويزة العظيم كان يمتلك نظامًا فريدًا من نوعه للمياه العذبة، وملجأ رئيسيًا للعديد من أنواع الطيور الرئيسية من أصل أفريقي وهندي في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأوروبي، كما كان يتمتع بتنوع بيولوجي لا مثيل له حول العالم، إذ كان موطنًا لأنواع مهددة بالأنقراض لكثيير من الثدييات.
لكن هذه الطبيعة المميزة المليئة بالمخلوقات المتآلفة لم تدم طويلًا، إذ دأب النظام الإيراني على تخريب و تدمير البيئة في الأحواز وعلى رأسها بيئة الأهوار الأحوازية حيث كان هور الحويزة في الأحواز مسرحًا للعمليات القتالية خلال ثمان سنوات من الحرب بين ما تسمى جغرافية إيران والعراق مما لحق أضرارًا كبيرة في الأهوار.
وعقب انتهاء الحرب لم يعر النظام أي اهتمام لتلك الأهوار والتي تشكل محميات لكثير من النباتات الطبيعية والحيوانات البرية و البحرية مثل الجاموس والأسماك؛ بل حولها إلى أراضي قاحلة عبر مشاريع التنقيب عن النفط والجداول المائية التي تحرف مجرى المياه لصالح شركات قصب السكر التي يديرها الحرس الثوري الإيراني.
واتخذ إجراءات تضييقية ضد المزارعين الأحوازيين ومربي المواشي الذين تم تهجيرهم خلال الحرب، وحينما عادوا إلى الأهوار باتوا يواجهون ظروفًا معيشية صعبة، بسبب انحسار المياه واختفاء المراعي الخضراء جراء بناء السدود الإيرانية، وتحويل مصبات الأنهار عنها، وقلة الأمطار، وسوء الإدارة المائية، والتعديات على مجرى الأنهر.
وعلى هذا؛ فإن المنظمة الأحوازية للدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان تدعو إلى تدويل قضية جفاف الأهوار وتداعياتها على الواقع البيئي والزراعي، وما يترتب عليه من تداعيات تطال الإنسان والحيوان في مختلف القطاعات والوقوف عليها وتدويل ملف المياه والضغط على النظام الإيراني لإطلاق تصاريف مائية تقي الهور من الجفاف.
وتشدد على ضرورة اتخاذ خطوات فعلية لإيقاف حرف مصادر مياه الأنهار التي تصب في هذه الأهوار مثل نهري كارون و الكرخة في الأحواز ونقل مياهها إلى مناطق متفرقة داخل جغرافية إيران، مما دمر البيئة ليس في الأهوار فحسب؛ بل حتى في المدن الأحوازية.
وتؤكد المنظمة على أن المناخ الخلاب الذي تتمتع به بلاد الأحواز العربية أصبح مهددًا منذ سنوات ولم يعد مقتصرًا على الأهوار وملف المياه؛ فالتلوث اجتاح بلاد الأحواز العربية نتيجة ممارسات النظام الإيراني التي سعت بشكل عمدي للإضرار بالبيئة في الأحواز لقتل السكان بشكل بطيء.
وتشير أيضًا إلى تكرار مشاهد تحول سماء المدن الأحوازية إلى اللون الأصفر وتعطيل الحياة هناك حيث يهرع المواطنون إلى المستشفيات لتلقي العلاج الناتج عن الضيق في التنفس في ظل خدمات صحية متدنية.
وتطالب المنظمة الأمم المتحدة بالنظر إلى مسؤولية الحفاظ على البيئة كمسؤولية مشتركة تتطلب تعاونًا دوليًا، لتشكيل ضغطًا على النظام الإيراني بضرورة وقف سياساته التدميرية للبيئة في أهوار الأحواز.
كما تحمل اليونسكو مسؤولية ما يجري بالأهوار الأحوازية والتفريط في هذا النظام البيئي الفريد من نوعه، والتلكؤ في إدراج أهوار الأحواز ضمن قائمة التراث العالمي.
