شكا أهالى مدينة كوت عبدالله في الأحواز، من سوء حالة مياه الشرب التى تصل إليهم صفراء وبها رائحة كريهة ولا تصلح للاستهلاك الآدمي.
وتداول رواد مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي مقطعًا مرئيًا يظهر مياه الشرب مختلطة بالحصى ما أدى إلى تدمير مضخة المياه نظرًا لتراكم الحصى فيه.
ورغم أن أهالي المدينة تقدموا بالعديد من الشكاوى إلى البلديات التابعة للنظام الإيراني حول سوء حالة المياه التى تأتي مختلطة بالشوائب والتى تساهم فى تغيير لونها إلى الأصفر والأحمر؛ فلا يعودون إلا بوعود كاذبة.
وأكد الأهالي أن مواسير مياه الشرب تحتاج إلى تغيير فوري حيث باتت أرضًا خصبة للبكتيريا والطحالب والتي تساهم فى تغيير لون المياه، مشيرين إلى خوفهم الكبير من إصابة عوائلهم بالأمراض والفشل الكلوي حيث أن المياه لا تصلح الشرب أو الاستعمال لأى غرض آخر.
من جانبها، تؤكد المنظمة الأحوازية للدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان، أن النظام الإيراني مازال يشهر سلاح المياه والتعطيش في وجه الشعب الأحوازي، فمن لا يميته العطش يميته المرض الناتج من شرب المياه غير الصالحة.
وتشير المنظمة إلى أنه في الوقت الذي يمد النظام الإيراني المستوطنات بالمياه النظيفة ويعلن عن تدشين خطط ومشاريع جديدة لمعالجة المياه، فإن الشعب الأحوازي خارج نطاق هذا التفكير.
وتشدد المنظمة على أنه بموجب القانون الدولي يقع على عاتق الحكومة الإيرانية مسؤولية احترام الحق الإنساني للأحوازيين في المياه، وإجبارها على الامتناع عن اتخاذ إجراءات من شأنها أن تنتهك هذا الحق، أو تقوِّض فرصة الأحوازيين في إحقاق هذا الحق، وعليها أن تتخذ خطوات متعمدة وملموسة ومستهدفة لضمان الإيفاء بهذا الحق وإحقاقه بشكل كامل.
وتؤكد أن حق الحصول على المياه وخدمات الصرف الصحي والمرافق، وحق العلاج والعمل ما يضمن حياة كريمة، منصوص عليها في معاهدات حقوق الإنسان القائمة، وعلى المجتمع الدولي التحرك حتى تتحمل إيران المسؤولية الرئيسية في ضمان تحقيق هذه الحقوق وسائر حقوق الإنسان الأساسية.
كما تدعو المجتمع الدولي لاتخاذ خطوات فورية من شأنها الضغط على السلطات الإيرانية لوقف سياسات التهميش والتعطيش والتمميز بكل صورها وأشكالها بحق الشعب الأحوازي.
