تایید حکم اعدام عباس دریس

شعبه ۳۹ دیوان عالی جمهوری اسلامی ایران، حکم اعدام #عباس_دریس زندانی سیاسی و تنها شاهد جنایت کشتار نیزارهای معشور (ماهشهر) در آبان ۱۳۹۸ را تایید کرد.
وکیل مدافع این زندانی عرب احوازی اعلام کرد: «حکم اعدام عباس دریس در شعبه ۳۹ دیوان عالی کشور از بابت اتهام محاربه بدون توجه به ایرادات ذکر شده تایید شد و درخواست اعاده دادرسی خواهم داد.»
فرشته تابانیان افزود: «این حکم به من ابلاغ نشد و من از طریق ابلاغ استحضاری شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب معشور (ماهشهر) متوجه شدم.»

تابانتان، در نوامبر سال گذشته طی مصاحبه ‌ای با پایگاه خبری-تحلیلی امتداد، تاکید کرد که همه استناد‌های دادگاه به گزارش‌های ضابط اطلاعات سپاه و اعترافات اولیه است و هیچیک از اعترافات در حضور بازپرس انجام نشده‌ که این امر شائبه اجباری بودن این اعتراف‌ها را تقویت می‌کند .
این وکیل دادگستری همچنین عنوان کرده بود:« در مورد گزارش کارشناس اسلحه ایرادات جدی وجود دارد و علاوه بر آن به دلیل اشکالات متعدد حقوقی به حکم، امید زیادی به شکستن این حکم وجود دارد.»
وکیل عباس دریس، همچنین در دسامبر ۲۰۲۲، اعلام کرد موفق به کسب رضایت از ولی‌دم بدون هیچ هزینه‌ای(دیه‌ای) شده است و ابراز امیدواری کرد که حکم ⁧اعدام⁩ نیز در دیوان عالی نقض شود.

عباس و محسن دریس، دو برادر ساکن معشور (ماهشهر) بودند که در جریان قیام آبان ۱۳۹۸ و قتل ‌عام مردم در نیزارهای معشور توسط نیروهای نوپو؛ بازداشت شدند و با اتهامات امنیتی از جمله قتل یکی از نیروهای یگان ویژه و همچنین محاربه و مشارکت در محاربه محاکمه شدند.
عباس دریس دارای ۳ فرزند است و «کفایه حزباوی» همسرش، دو سال پیش پس از شنیدن خبر صدور حکم اعدام برای عباس، دچار سکته‌ی مغزی شد و درگذشت.

سازمان احوازی برای دفاع از حقوق بشر حکم ناعادلانه و ظالمانه عباس دریس را که باوجود ایرادات جدی در پرونده و تحت شکنجه و اعترافات اجباری، صادر و تایید شده است بشدت محکوم کرده و آنرا در راستای سرکوب و قتل‌های حکومتی و سیستماتیک ملت عرب احواز توسط رژیم جنایتکار جمهوری اسلامی ایران می‌داند. سازمان احوازی برای دفاع از حقوق بشر از تمامی مؤسسات و سازمان‌های بین المللی و حقوق بشری می‌خواهد که ضمن محکوم کردن این حکم در جهت لغو آن تلاش نمایند.
