أثار قيام السلطات الإيرانية بتنفيذ جريمه الإعدام بحق الأسير الأحوازي هاني شهبازي بعد تلفيق تهم كاذبة، انتقادات واسعة بعدما أفادت منظمات حقوقية بأن الأسير لم يخضع لمحاكمة عادلة.
وبحسب مصادر حقوقية، فإن الأسير الأحوازي هاني شهبازي من أهالي الفلاحية وجهت له تهم باطلة من بينها اغتيال اثنين من عناصر الحرس الثوري الإيراني قبل أربعة أعوام؛ وقد جرى اعتقاله وقتها في أجواء ملبدة بالتعسف والظلم، حيث منعت السلطات أهالي الأسير من توكيل محاميًا للدفاع عنه.
وعلى هذا، تدين المنظمة الأحوازيه للدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان، بأشد عبارات الشجب تنفيذ حكم الإعدام على الأسير هاني شهبازي، مؤكدة أن الحق في الحياة هو حق إنساني متأصل غير قابل للمساومة.
وتشير إلى أن القانون الدولي يحظر بوضوح الإعدامات بإجراءات موجزة أو خارج نطاق القضاء أو الإعدام التعسفي، كما يحظره أيضًا العهد الدولي الخاص بحقوق الإنسان والنظام الإيراني طرف فيها.
وتؤكد المنظمة أن الأمم المتحدة وضعت ضمانات تكفل حماية حقوق الأشخاص الذين يواجهون حكمًا عليهم بالإعدام من بينها أنه لكل من يحكم عليه بالإعدام الحق في الاستئناف لدى محكمة أعلى، وينبغي اتخاذ الخطوات الكفيلة بجعل هذا الاستئناف إجباريًا، فما بالك أن تجرى عملية الإعدام دون الخضوع إلى محاكمة من الأساس؛ بل إن سلطات النظام الإيراني منعت توكيل محامي للمعتقل هاني شهبازي قبل تنفيذ حكم الإعدام عليه.
وترى المنظمة أن الإجواء التي جرت فيها عمليلة الإعدام بحق الأسير الأحوازي، إنما تؤكد أن النظام الإيراني يتجاهل الحق في الحياة والحق في محاكمة المعتقلين الأحوازيين محاكمات عادلة، إذ أنه يعتمد على طرق مروعة في التعجيل بمحاكمة هؤلاء المعتقلين والحكم عليهم من خلال النظام القضائي الإيراني في ظل استخدام اعترافات مشوبة بالتعذيب، وعيوب إجرائية خطيرة، ونقص الأدلة.
ونظرًا إلى مستوى ونطاق الانتهاكات المرتكبة من قبل النظام الإيراني، فإن المنظمة تطالب المجتمع الدولي وشركاء النظام الإيراني الدوليين فرض عقوبات محددة الهدف، تشمل تجميد الأصول، ضد المسؤولين والأجهزة الإيرانية ذات المسؤولية الأكبر عن الانتهاكات الحقوقية الجسيمة، وكذلك ضد المسؤولين عن استمرار الإفلات من العقاب على هذه الانتهاكات.
وتدعو المنظمة إلى سرعة تشكيل هيئة دولية مستقلة لرصد حالة حقوق الإنسان في جغرافية ما تسمى إيران، والإبلاغ عنها، والتحقيق في الانتهاكات الحقوقية الجسيمة، بما فيها الإخفاء القسري، والتعذيب، والإعدام خارج نطاق القانون.
كما تؤكد المنظمة أن أجهزة الأمن الإيرانية ترتكب انتهاكات جسيمة بشكل روتيني وتخفيها دون عقاب، لذا فإن الوقت قد حان لدفع ثمن الانتهاكات الصارخة التي ترتكبها السلطات بحق الشعب الأحوازي الأعزل.
