The Iranian regime is taking advantage of the joy of Eid and carrying out a large campaign of arrests in Malashiya
The Iranian regime insists to increase the tragedy of the Ahwazi people, and ruin the joy of Eid for many families nears the advent of Eid Al-Fitr, as its security forces launched a massive detention campaign in The Malashiya, Ahwaz, the capital.
According to human rights sources, the Iranian regime is accustomed to raising the frequency of arrests with the proximity of religious occasions, especially in the holy month of Ramadan and holidays, for fear of gatherings and the accompanying momentum, some of which turn into mass activities against it.
The Ahwazi Organization for the Defence of Human Rights obtained the names of the detainees: “Ibrahim Silawi, Khalil Silawi, Qassem Silawi, Khaled Nabi Silawi, Ibrahim Kroushay, Muhammad Krushawi, Ayoub Badawi, Muhammad Sharifi, and Kazem Abbas Darjal.”
The wave of arrests by the Iranian regime in light of the spread of the Coronavirus “Covid-19” pandemic has not stopped, ignoring international and human warning , accumulating detainees and prisoners in the notorious Iranian prisons.
The Ahwazi Organization for the Defence of Human Rights warns of the seriousness of the conditions inside Iranian prisons, which turned into ovens in the extreme heat that accompanies the last days of the holy month of Ramadan.
The organization affirms that the Iranian regime pursues the detention policy as an essential part of its violent structure and tools by which it tries to take away the rights of the Ahwazi people.
The organization calls on all international authorities, particularly the United Nations, to urgently intervene to release the prisoners.
