regime authorities launch a massive campaign of arrests all over Ahwaz
The Iranian occupation authorities launched a massive arrest campaign in different parts of Ahwaz, accompanied by a raid on a number of houses.
Local sources said that the arrest campaign affected a number of Ahwazi citizens, including “Hussein Shamani bin Ali, Ali Reda bin Abdulaziz, Diaa bin Faisal, Ali Reda Fadi Krooshat and Diyaa Krooshat.”
Sources confirmed to the “Ahwazi Organization for the Defense of Human Rights” that the Iranian regime forces raided the house of Hussein Shamani bin Ali, after they arrested him from his workplace without any charges being brought against him, explaining that he was taken to an unknown destination.
According to the sources, 35-year-old Shamani is married with two children, and works at Arvand Petrochem Company in Ma`shour Port.
Accordingly, the Ahwazi Organization for the Defense of Human Rights condemns the crimes committed by the Iranian regime against the defenseless people of Ahwaz.
The organization affirms that the arrests campaign is a continuation of the black terror series practiced by the Iranian regime against the non-Persian peoples.
The organization calls on all human rights and international institutions to take urgent and immediate action to hold the Iranian regime accountable and to stop the brutal crimes it commits against the Ahwazi Arab people.
