the Iranian regime authorities kidnap an Ahwazi woman As the world is marking International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Iranian regime authorities have abducted a woman named Leila Shawardi from her home in Fallehiyeh.
The arrest came without an arrest warrant. Credible sources from the city of Fallehiyeh said that the Iranian regime forces arrested on Monday November 25 a woman named Leila Shawardi , 38, after raiding her house in Fallehiyeh of the Arab region of Ahwaz.She was born in 1981.She is married and a mother of three.
She has been arrested by unknown entities affiliated with the intelligence. They have been estimated to be dozens. They led Shawardi to an unknown destination to interrogate her. It is worth mentioning that her toddler Khalid is in a critical condition. He needs care by his parents. However, Iran is violating all the international agreements such as Convention on Rights of Children signed in 1989 and International Campaign for the Convention.
The International Coalition against Enforced Disappearances (ICAED) in 1992. Media anchor Nasser Aziz, brother of Shawardi, told the organization that he does not know the whereabouts or the reason for arresting his sister, which increases panic of the family. He called for the international organizations including Human Rights Council and Amnesty International to speedily intervene to reveal the whereabouts of his sister and release her.
The Ahwazi Organization for Defense of Human Rights call for the governments and security forces to reveal the whereabouts of Mrs. Shawardi who has been kidnapped by the Iranian intelligence forces and taken to an unknown destination. It pointed out that “the crime of enforced disappearance is a serious crime whose full responsibility is borne by the security services, especially the state in general for these crimes.”
