The people of Ghezaniyeh accuse the military ruler of delaying in solving the water shortage crisis
The people of Ghezaniyeh criticized the military ruler of Ahwaz for his delay in resolving the water shortage crisis and its continuous scarcity for years.
Human rights sources told the “Ahwazi Organization for the Defence of Human Rights”, that the people accused the military ruler of making false promises in order to confirm the resolve of the people and put down their anger.
The military ruler had earlier promised to solve the water problem within the next 24 hours after the people cut off the main road last month in protesting the continuous water interruption. the Iranian regime ignored their demands, leading to the outbreak of bloody clashes between the people and the forces of the Iranian regime, and the crisis was not resolved until present day.
The Ahwazi Organization for the Defence of Human Rights affirms that the Iranian regime has repeatedly made false promises at times and repression at other times to confront the situation of congestion and boiling that prevails among the people who have only been defeated by oppression and racism.
The organization notes that the cities and villages of Ahwaz are witnessing a low status in all aspects, whether in the absence of health services, the absence of educational projects, the exacerbation of unemployment and the low living conditions, in addition to the intentional marginalization of the problems of the people, foremost of which is the scarcity of drinking water.
The organization stresses the need for international intervention and international action to put pressure on the Iranian regime and stop its racist practices against the Ahwazi people through realistic measures on the ground more just issuing statements of condemnation.
