Iranian regime forces arrest cultural activist Mohamed Bouadar after raiding his house
the Iranian regime authorities arrested the cultural activist Mohamed Bouadar after raiding his house without a charge and took him to an unknown location.
The arrest took place in conjunction with the extensive raids launched by the Iranian regime’s authorities that involved the arrests of several civil activists in different cities and villages in Al-Ahwaz
According to the Ahwazi Organization for the Defense of Human Rights, the Iranian regime forces confiscated the belongings and items of Mr. Bouadar, including his personal computer, after searching his house’s rooms and tampering with their contents.
The Iranian regime forces intentionally intimidate political and cultural activists through arbitrary detention and the worst forms of torture to muzzle mouths and blur the Al-Ahwazi identity.
The Ahwazi Organization for the Defense of Human Rights denounces the campaign of arbitrary arrests carried out by the Iranian regime forces against Ahwazi activists, which constitutes a grave violation of the rules of international humanitarian law.
The organization calls on the international community and human rights organizations to take urgent action to activate accountability mechanisms for all those suspected of any serious violations committed by the Iranian regime forces against unarmed civilians as one way to ensure respect for the rules of international law and justice in the Ahwazi lands.
