Ahwaz is an Arab land that is located in the southwest and south of Iran. The name of Al Ahwaz has changed to Khuzestan, Bushier and Hurmozgan in 1936, after Iran occupied the country in 1925. Both Iranian regimes, the Pahlavi era and the Islamic republic era, used different ways to suppress Ahwazi voices.
The Iranian intelligence services were arrested these men in 2009 after attacked their houses in Falahia city. Several Arabs men were arrested in the charge of enmity of Gad, corruption on the earth, dangerous for the security, and propaganda against the regime. Four of these men were sent to the death penalty on 15 August 2012 by Branch 1 of the revolutionary court in Ahwaz.
